Students in Mrs. DeNu’s Career tech class had a special guest speaker today. Airman Thomas Hansford (who is a Goshen Grad) spoke about life in the Airforce as a Combat Photo Journalist for Public Affairs. It’s amazing to have graduates come back to speak about their careers!

Goshen Alumni Association would like to announce that we are accepting applications for the Hall of Fame. Applications are due by October 30th. The purpose of The Goshen Local Schools Hall of Fame is to honor individuals, establish pride, and preserve the tradition of honoring those who have made a significant contribution to the Goshen Local School District. It was such a fun day at GMS! We started the morning cleaning up the campus and celebrated homecoming at our amazing pep assembly! More content to come- but here is a teaser! Best day ever!!!

It was wacky Wednesday on picture day at GMS- so some people went wacky and some opted for "Dress Your Best" All crushed it!

Students in Mrs. Shaw's STEM class learned the process of making homemade ice cream this week! It was definitely a fan favorite!

Mrs. DeNu's career tech class had the opportunity to interview local Photographer, Kayla Ashcraft. (She is a Goshen grad!) Students have been exploring photography and recently visited the park to get some content on perspective and composition. Check out a few examples!

​Just like that, it's time to get ready for Goshen Local Schools Homecoming 2023! Spirit Week begins on Monday Sept. 4 with the Powder Puff game and ends with the Homecoming football game (Sept. 8) and dance (Sept. 9.) Check out our Homecoming hub​ for information about the parade, how to get tickets, and what Warrior students can wear during Spirit Week!

At GMS today, team Princeton had their house meeting. Each tribe in the building belongs to a house. We compete every quarter for points to earn cool rewards! Points can be earned from GPA, attendance, (lack of) office referrals, Kahoot Fridays, and house battles!

Props to the Slagle Squad for troubleshooting computer problems and handing out loaners to other GMS students!

GMS principals, Ms. Flynn, and Mr. Baughman gave the students a pep talk on expectations today. Also, Facility Dog, Meg, has been enjoying her time with students and staff. It's going to be a great year!

Mrs. Shaw's Gratitude Group went outside to reflect on their current relationship with nature and their local surroundings. It was a beautiful day and a great way to end the first week! GMS loves #staggmarrpark

It was an exciting day in the GMS gym today! 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students got to break in the brand new GaGa Pit equipment!
