Assessments at Spaulding Elementary
Spaulding Elementary students are required to participate in Ohio State Tests. The purpose of these assessments is to help determine how well our students are responding to teacher instruction.

To provide additional support for teaching and learning, all Spaulding Elementary students will participate in diagnostic assessments for reading and math as well as science for fifth grade.
Fourth grade students take the Iowa/CoGat assessments in the spring.
In addition, teachers use formative assessments to determine what students know or have learned as well as what topics students may need intervention or enrichment.
